PV_Live: About

The PV_Live service provides a near realtime estimate of nationally- and regionally-aggregated electricity generation from solar Photovoltaics (PV) connected to the GB transmission network.

PV_Live has been developed by Sheffield Solar, a research group in the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, University of Sheffield, funded by and developed in collaboration with NESO (National Energy System Operator) with raw PV generation data from PassivSystems.
